Our scholarships support hundreds of college-bound students each year, because Simon Youth Foundation’s work with students doesn’t stop when they graduate from high school. To-date, we have awarded more than $16 million in scholarships to more than 4,500 students in 42 states. And we’re just getting started.

Simon Youth Academy Scholarship Program

  • To be eligible, applicants must:
  • Be currently enrolled and graduating in the Spring or Summer of 2018 from one of the Simon Youth Foundation Academies located in Simon® malls and/or other locations identified by SYF

OR

  • Be a recent graduate of a Simon Youth Academy (Fall 2017 graduate)

AND

  • Plan to enroll in an accredited two- or four-year college, university, vocational/technical or trade school full-time in Fall 2018
  • Attend the Academy graduation ceremony if selected as an Academy Scholarship recipient
  • Applicants will be evaluated based on academic promise, letter of recommendation, essay response, work experience and community/extracurricular involvement
  • Scholarship award breakdown:
    • Two-year recipients are eligible for up to $4,000 per year, up to two years; and four-year recipients are eligible for up to $8,000 per year, up to four years
  • A select number of the top applicants among all academies will be eligible for the Best of the Best Award
    • This award is up to $10,000 per year for up to four years

Simon Youth Community Scholarship Program

  • To be eligible, applicants must:
  • Be a high school senior attending school and living in a Simon® community
  • Be a legal U.S. resident
  • Plan to enroll full-time in an accredited two- or four-year college, university or vocational/technical school in Fall 2018
  • Demonstrate academic promise and financial need
  • Applicants will be evaluated based on academic promise, financial need, essay response, letter of recommendation, work experience and community/extracurricular involvement
  • Scholarships in the amount of $1,500, one at each Simon® center, will be awarded annually and are not renewable
  • The top-ranking applicants in selected Simon® regions will be considered for the Award of Excellence
    • One Award of Excellence Scholarship will be given per eligible region
    • This award is renewable

Simon Youth Greg Saunders Legacy Scholarship Program

  • To be eligible, applicants must:
  • Be a dependent son or daughter of a full-time or part-time employee of Simon Property Group who has been employed for at least one year as of February 15, 2018
  • Be 23 years old or younger
  • Be a high school senior or current college student planning to enroll in full-time undergraduate study at an accredited two- or four-year college, university or vocational/technical school in Fall 2018
  • Applicants will be evaluated based on academic promise, financial need, letter of recommendation, essay response, work experience and community/extracurricular involvement
  • Scholarships will be awarded up to $3,000 annually and are renewable
