SLB Founders Scholarship

Thank you for your interest in the SLB Founders Scholarship Program!

The SLB Founders Scholarship Program is a benefit for dependent children of SLB employees, including legacy Cameron, Aker and ChampionX, in the United States and Canada. It aims to encourage academic achievement and support higher education by offering financial assistance for undergraduate studies.

Named in honor of the founders of our Company in North America, the program provides generous, tax-effective awards for students seeking to pursue a two- or four-year undergraduate course of study after high school.


Program Highlights

There are two types of scholarships granted to first-time recipients each year:

  • Merit Scholarships
    • 8 awards of $5,000 each
    • Available to children of United States-based employees only (not offered in Canada due to tax restrictions)
  • Honors Awards
    • 32 awards of $3,500 each (for four-year programs) or $2,000 each (for two-year programs)
    • Available to children of employees in both the United States and Canada

Application Timeline

  • Application Opens: January 1, 2026
  • Deadline for Submission: March 1, 2026
  • Award Announcement: By May 31, 2026
  • Payment Issued: July-August


Eligibility

To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must:

  • Be in their senior year of high school/secondary school or home-schooling
  • Be entering a United States or Canadian college/university as a first-time freshman
  • Be a dependent son or daughter of a full-time employee of a North American SLB company
  • Have a parent employed for at least three years of continuous service as of October 1, 2025

Scholarships can be renewed for additional years with satisfactory academic performance. The recipient’s parent must continue to be employed by SLB in the United States or Canada during the open enrollment period.


How To Apply

The 2026-27 application period is January 1 – March 1, 2026. 

Create an account or log in with your existing ISTS account to access the online application. Complete your application and submit all required materials by the deadline.

International Scholarship and Tuition Services Inc. (ISTS) is the SLB-assigned third party administrator of the program. Clicking the Apply Now link above will take you to ISTS’ application portal.

Welcome Back, SLB Founders Scholars!

The renewal process ensures that students who previously received a scholarship continue to receive financial support as long as they maintain academic excellence and meet eligibility requirements.

Renewals are not automatic; students must reapply each year and their parent must continue to be employed by SLB including legacy Cameron, Aker and ChampionX in the United States or Canada during the open enrollment period.

Important Dates

  • Renewals Form Opens: January 5, 2026
  • Deadline for Completion: March 31, 2026
  • Award Announcement: By May 31, 2026
  • Payment Issued: July-August

Renewal Process

  1. Go to https://aim.applyISTS.net/SLB and log into your account
  2. On your Home page under Applications, locate the SLB Scholarship Program box which includes the year you were originally awarded
  3. Under Additional Forms, locate the Renewal Form link
  4. Click on the link to be taken directly to the form
  5. Complete all required fields and upload your required documentation
  6. Click the Submit button on the Save/Submit page of the form
