The Berti Foundation Scholarship Program
The Berti Foundation has established a scholarship program to assist children of employees who plan to continue their education in college.
This program is administered by International Scholarship and Tuition Services, Inc. (ISTS), a leading industry expert and a trusted educational assistance program management partner for organizations looking to outsource the administration of a scholarship, tuition assistance, tuition reimbursement or grant program. Awards are granted without regard to race, color, creed, religion, sexual orientation, age, gender, disability or national origin.
Applicants must meet all of the following criteria:
- Be dependent children of full-time Ali Group North America U.S.-based employees who have a minimum of six (6) months of permanent employment with the company as of the application deadline date. (Dependent children are children who qualify for benefits provided by the company or are dependents for income tax purposes.)
- Be high school seniors or graduates or current college undergraduates.
- Plan to enroll in full-time undergraduate study at an accredited two- or four-year college or university for the entire 2021-2022 academic year.
- Have a minimum grade point average of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale (or its equivalent).
Application Opens: February 15, 2021
Application Closes: April 20, 2021
Winners Notified: June 1, 2021
Award Checks Issued: July 20, 2021
The program will use selection criteria including consideration of the following:
- Financial Need
- Academic Records
- Essay Content
Financial need will be considered in determining the amount of each award.
Up to five (5) awards of up to $10,000 each will be granted. The program will be administered in full compliance with IRS Revenue Procedure 76-47.
Awards are renewable up to three years or until a bachelor’s degree is earned, whichever occurs first, on the basis of satisfactory academic performance (maintaining a cumulative grade point average of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale or the equivalent).
Awards are for undergraduate study only.
Awards will be used for education-related expenses only.
