Thank you for your interest in the Simon Youth Scholarship programs! SYF is committed to helping students graduate and pursue their dreams through education.
Each year, SYF’s scholarships support hundreds of college-bound students through three nationally competitive scholarship programs. To date, SYF has awarded nearly $21 million in scholarships to almost 6,000 students in 42 states, and we’re just getting started.
Applicants are evaluated based on academic promise, financial need, work experience and community/extracurricular involvement; additional criteria apply to each individual scholarship program.
The Shari Simon Greenberg Community Scholarship of the Simon Youth Foundation supports graduating seniors who live in a Simon mall community through one-time scholarships.
One Shari Simon Greenberg Community Scholarship will be awarded at each Simon® property and is not renewable. Award amounts vary from year to year and are based on available funding.
In addition, the top-ranking applicants selected in Simon communities will be eligible for the Award of Excellence, which is a renewable scholarship awarded to one student in eligible Simon regions.

Applicants will be evaluated based on academic promise, financial need, written response, work experience and community/extracurricular involvement.
Simon Youth Academy Scholarships support graduates of SYF’s 43 nationwide Simon Youth Academies through renewable two- and four-year scholarships.
Scholarships will be awarded to recipients planning to attend a two-year post-secondary education program and recipients planning to attend a four-year post-secondary education program. The number of awards and award amounts vary from year to year and are based on available funding.
All scholarships awards are renewable. Two-year scholarships are renewable for up to one (1) additional year. Four-year scholarships are renewable for up to three (3) additional years.
A select number of the top applicants amongst all academies will be eligible for the Best of the Best Award.

Applicants will be evaluated based on academic promise, letter of recommendation, essay response, work experience and community/extracurricular involvement.
Simon Youth Greg Saunders Legacy Scholarships support dependent sons or daughters of a full- or part-time employee of Simon Property Group through one-time scholarships.
Scholarship award amounts vary each year and are based on available funding. Though not renewable, recipients and applicants may re-apply for up to four years.

NOTE: The status Complete will display on your AIM Home page when all forms have been submitted and all documents have been verified. Applicants are responsible for monitoring the progress of all application requirements to make sure their application is complete by 11:59 pm on February 15, 2023. Late submissions will not be considered.
The 2023-24 Scholarship Program application window is September 1, 2022 - February 15, 2023.
